Our business model is to provide nearly free teaching materials for use in the classroom. By
nearly free we mean that all of the teaching materials we provide
will always be free to use in the classroom, no matter who buys them. This is assured because our materials
specify this directly in the copyright.
This business model is designed and intended specifically to help teachers.
This business model, however,
sacrifices potential sales and
may not prove viable.
Patreon subscriptions provide a chance for those who value our materials to offer on-going support in
exchange for new materials that are not otherwise available.
Our patrons are
permitted and
encouraged to lend any of our education materials they obtain from their subscriptions
to teachers for use with their classes.

benefits to all patron subscription levels.
We have many exciting plans for ways to help teachers in the future!
Each monthly subscription level provides benefits

Why Patreon?
Patreon provides key technical support that is not part of our mission:
- Most importantly,
Patreon provides us with secure payment processing. We leave payment processing to the professionals so that hackers have no financial incentive to go after our web site. This keeps our focus on providing educational materials.
- Patreon also provides technical support for tracking subscription levels.
They can provide real-time customer services for important issues that are not directly related to our educational mission.
This includes tracking premium content distribution for subscription levels.
We are counting on subscription revenues to make up for any
loss of sales due to our commitment to teachers that they
can always use any of our material in their classes. Many features under
consideration require additional technical talent which requires a sustained revenue stream.
We plan to consider other funding options, like Kickstarter or go-fund-me, for specific one-time projects.
